Mathematics degree from the U of M; 10 years of experience as an embedded systems software engineer; 11 years as an independent consultant, specializing in being a generalist.

I am typecast as a Macintosh expert, but also do Windows, Linux, networking and programming as required. And lately, kicking and screaming, phone systems. The client base is mostly non-profits and small/homebased businesses. I'm learning Perl for fun.

I lead a Mac OS X special interest group for the local Apple User's Group (http://www.miniapples.org/) and belong to some other local consulting networking groups.
