The February 2009 monthly meeting of TC Web Pros will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 from 11:30 am to 1:00 p.m. Networking time is from 11:00 am to 11:30 a.m. for those who can make it a little early.

Our Topic:

Our presenter is Jerry Stearns of Great Northern Audio Productions. He is a trainer at KFAI community radio and can be found at www.greatnorthernaudio.com.

His presentation will be a beginners' introduction to putting audio on the web. We'll discuss hardware & software you might use, audio file types and uses, and MP3 meta-information tags. Jerry will perform a demonstration of editing and mixing using Garageband and make simple page links to audio files. Come to learn and for the door prizes!

Our meetings (scheduled the third Tuesday of every month) offer a great opportunity to learn more about web development and its related services while meeting other web professionals from the Twin Cities Metro area. Come prepared to network (bring business cards to pass), learn and share!
