June 2005: Designing Web Sites with CSS

We'll be taking a look at designing with CSS and web standards, and how doing so could save you a lot of time and effort. Todd Prouty and Rick Chasin will be presenting this topic that you won't want to miss!

1. An overview of CSS - advantages, browser issues, resources, etc.
2. A visit to the Zen Garden site, the acclaimed CSS site that is a great example of what is possible for designers wanting to use CSS. We'll also visit CSS Reboot, which showcases sites that redesign with CSS.
3. A demo of a CSS design tool StyleMaster. We'll take a short look at the tool and demo creation of a web page using the built-in design wizard.
4. A demo of the Web Developer extension for Firefox. This free extension provides many useful tools for web professionals.
